- I think you should get ok result if you use colors with 70%-75% of their
- strength. The 70% is the "limit" for the video signal (composite). Any colors
- with a level higher than this can be distorted (white gets more pink etc.).
- You will may think it looks dark, but that's ok, when we capture film
- professionally we actually want to have the picture a little dark.. it'll
- make better depth contrasts. Of course colors which are "opposite" will not
- look good together, eg. red and blue, black and white etc. Compensate the
- colors you use by gaining the lowest color value and lower the highest color
- value.

- It could also be something with your friend's TV. Take a look at the
- Saturation control and see if it is set too high.
