  20. I think you should get ok result if you use colors with 70%-75% of their
  21. strength. The 70% is the "limit" for the video signal (composite). Any colors
  22. with a level higher than this can be distorted (white gets more pink etc.).
  23. You will may think it looks dark, but that's ok, when we capture film
  24. professionally we actually want to have the picture a little dark.. it'll
  25. make better depth contrasts. Of course colors which are "opposite" will not
  26. look good together, eg. red and blue, black and white etc. Compensate the
  27. colors you use by gaining the lowest color value and lower the highest color
  28. value.

  30. It could also be something with your friend's TV. Take a look at the
  31. Saturation control and see if it is set too high.
